Writeframe is inspired by Typeshare’s approach to short-form publishing—the idea that most social media content is just well-formatted text on a nice background. Instead of designing in a separate tool and exporting, you write directly on the final layout. What you see in the editor is exactly what gets exported.

The app ships with 8 layout templates (blog post cards, tweet formats, browser windows, Instagram splits) and exports at native dimensions for each platform—Instagram feed, Stories, Twitter, LinkedIn. A FlexLayout-based template system handles responsive scaling across devices, and a custom text fitting algorithm ensures typography looks right at every export resolution.

The editing experience is the core of it. A formatting toolbar lets you style text inline, and the template updates in real-time as you type. Drafts auto-save, so you can pick up where you left off. The goal is to make creating these kinds of posts feel as natural as writing a note.
